Integrated Services implies
the unique approach of
GITEC to involve all sectors
relevant for an efficient completion of projects to the benefit
of our Clients. We are convinced that a sustainable development
requires a functioning infrastructure for the production and
distribution of goods and a healthy population provided with
basic commodities and working opportunities appropriate to the
given socio-economic and ecological environment. Those
components are reflected in
GITEC's organization in five
fields of activity.
Worldwide
GITEC has been successfully
active in more than 120 countries in Europe, Middle East, Africa,
Asia and the Pacific, and Latin America since its origins back
in 1954.
GITEC places emphasis on roads,
water supply and sanitation, irrigation systems, schools,
hospitals and housing programmes, as well as on social and
commercial infrastructure in combination with the conservation
and management of natural resources and reforestation,
agricultural production conditions and, most important, health
education and family planning.
GITEC’s greatest strength is
its multidisciplinary capability. The staff of 125 comprises
engineers, planners and architects who join forces with
agriculturists, health specialists, ecologists, economists,
financial analysts and other specialists associating together on
a regular basis. To cope with the challenges of international
consulting,
GITEC has maintained long-term
relationships with local consultants who have met its high
standards of services.
The
Company’s head office is in Duesseldorf. From there assignments
are initiated, directed and supported all over the world, while,
at present, some 40 branch and project offices handle an
increasing volume of work in our Clients’ countries. |
